Hosts Successful Fifth Annual ELB Summer Gala
The Emerging Leaders Board (ELB) of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Inc. (CMRF) celebrated a night of inspiration and generosity at their Fifth Annual ELB Summer Gala, held on September 28, 2023. The event, held at the Bryant Park Grill, brought together over 200 supporters and generous donors together for a sold-out gathering to raise funds for pediatric research.
The event successfully raised $150,000 to support pediatric research initiatives. The evening’s program included a panel discussion emceed by Sophie Colgan, featuring guests of honor, Bernard Brogan, Gordon Darcy, and Doireann Garrihy. The discussion focused on themes of perseverance, overcoming challenges, entrepreneurship, and skill pivoting, inspiring attendees with stories of resilience and achievement.
A highlight of the event was the lively au1ction led by Patrick Tully, featuring an array of highly sought-after prizes. The generosity of the attendees was evident, as over $20,000 was raised during the raffle and auction, further contributing to the vital cause of pediatric research. The evening culminated in a performance by violinist, Gregory Harrington, who captivated the audience with a recital of modern songs with an Irish twist.
